What I do
My role as Field Building Officer involves supporting accredited community foundation teams and trustees through our learning programmes, networking events and learning resources. This field building work helps to challenge thinking and develop knowledge that builds on the work community foundations do in each place.
About me
My career has been spent in the charity sector with a particular focus on volunteer involvement; especially developing and sharing policy and good practice. In my last role I discovered the power of bringing people and organisations to achieve more together than they can do alone and I'm enjoying doing more of this at UK Community Foundations.
Outside of work
I've got lots of un-started craft kits that might get done one day! I like spending time in the garden and reading and I'm a trustee at my son's Scouts group.
