About me
I have worked in management for over two decades, as a management consultant in the low carbon and energy sector for over ten years and more recently as a freelance consultant working primarily with the charity and voluntary sector in the last ten years. My professional career has been varied but highlights have included developing strategy for charities, creating business processes for small enterprises and leading on the implementation of government policies and initiatives in the low carbon space. I am also Treasurer and Trustee of a local family charity and on the fundraising committee of my local Scout group.
What I do
As the Project Manager of Trust Transfers, I work closely with the Charity Commission for England and Wales to support dormant and inactive charitable trusts through UKCF's Revitalising Trusts Programme. This means helping dormant charities and trusts either get back up and running or revitalise their unused assets into good causes across the UK.
Outside of work
When I'm not ferrying my son to his various sporting fixtures, I enjoy training my dog, walking on the beach, keeping fit and going to the theatre. I also love interior design and reading, whenever I get a spare few minutes!
