My career has been in two halves. The first half as a local authority social worker, and the second as a Non Executive Director/Trustee in the not-for-profit and public services sectors, leading organisations who deliver services to children, vulnerable people or those historically least served.
Throughout my career, my passion and focus has been on equity and working with organisations, communities and individuals who wish to create change and opportunity for themselves or for others.
Alongside other current non-executive roles, I am currently a Trustee on the Somerset Community Foundation. I am delighted to be serving on the UKCF Board of Trustees where, amongst other things, I hope to support the community foundation movement convert its size into strength even more effectively.
