About me
I live in Derry/Londonderry in Northern Ireland, where I spent 20 years with Seagate Technology. I have also dedicated more than 30 years to the voluntary and community sector, serving as a trustee of Londonderry YMCA. From 2012 to 2019, I chaired the International Fund for Ireland, supporting peacebuilding and reconciliation across the island of Ireland.
What I do
I have been a trustee of the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland since 2019 and have served as Chair of the Board of Trustees since December 2021. Since January 2025, I have also been Belfast Innovation Commissioner, where I work to stimulate inclusive economic growth by bringing together government, industry, academia and communities to ensure innovation creates opportunities for everyone.
Outside of work
I am an avid sports fan but particularly enjoy playing golf with friends, watching rugby and football, and listening to an eclectic mix of music. I also enjoy running and hope to continue completing half marathons for as long as my legs will allow.
