What I do

I am responsible for the development and delivery of UKCF’s membership and learning strategy, supporting our network of community foundations and the communities they serve.

About me

I truly believe in the power of community. Prior to taking up my current role, I led the membership team at Locality, working with inspirational Community Organisations across England, supporting them with advice, tools and resources. Prior to that I set up a community business that is still thriving. I have also worked in community development in East and West Africa. My head is in strategy, but feet firmly in community.

Outside of work

I could be doing anything – from riding my motorbike (Ducati Scrambler) through the peaks, kickboxing with my daughter, volunteering in Calais with refugees, making delicious picnics from foraged foods to take on walks through the Derbyshire Dales, or discussing social justice and inclusion.
