Tampon Tax Fund
Two Community Foundations have received funding from the Tampon Tax Fund, aiming help improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls across the country.
On 30th March, Rob Wilson MP (also Minister for Civil Society) announced a list of charities which will receive funding from the latest round of the Tampon Tax Fund. Funding will have a specific focus supporting projects tackling violence and domestic abuse.
Norfolk Community Foundation and Heart of England Community Foundation have successfully applied for funding.
Norfolk Community Foundation will be awarded £44,000, to go towards a grants programme offering one year grants of up to £2,000 to small community groups and charities across the county.
Heart of England Community Foundation will be awarded £165,000 to fund a grants programme for charitable organisations working with women. The organisations supported have an annual income of under £250,000.
