I am currently Chair at Norfolk Community Foundation and I also chair the Nourishing Norfolk Group. I came to Norfolk in 2002 to establish the Connexions Service as its Chief Executive, moving to the County Council to head up Economic Development and Strategy, and was subsequently appointed in April 2017 to the Strategy Director.
In 2019, I was appointed as one of five Executive Directors leading the County Council. My remit covered a range of corporate services including HR, Legal, democratic services, communications, intelligence and analytics, and strategy.
Before joining the County Council, I worked in three different local authorities as well as a not-for-profit social business. I have a range of non-executive experience including with 3 FE Colleges, The Princes Trust and most recently Chair of the Norse Group.
